| Notes |
- Birth year may have been 1766. This Bernard Hart may be the one that purchased the land and maybe the one that travcewlled up Cornwall way for a while. He doesn't seem to come from "our" families ... but he wiggled into the high and mighty Jewish group of the NYSE and became wealthy. His grandson Francis Brett Hart (from his first marriage) was a mamous journalist and writer who worked at a Californian paper with the likes of Mark Twain.
